As a leading global healthcare company, our client is looking to hire a talented and highly motivated Associate Director, Brand Strategy & Marketing to join their thriving and fast-growing marketing team. We are looking for a creative and collaborative marketing strategist to help us articulate the full value of their brand vision and messaging to build strong, consistent recognition of their US presense and grow a diversified US Donor Base.


 


This individual will have a well-rounded background in championing national brand and marketing campaigns, while ensuring consistent and thoughtful strategic messaging to our core audience within respective markets. This role either resides in the Raleigh-Durham area with a hybrid in-office schedule or is 100% remote with required East Coast time-zone meetings.


 


 


The Position:


Our Associate Director, Brand Strategy & Marketing will oversee all annual brand & marketing campaigns, while supporting the Brand Manager on creating guidelines, developing, and implementing brand strategy, and the deployment of customized brand training with ongoing support and governance across the organization. This will be an annual effort to oversee and define on a national scale thoughtful brand strategy and communications for each coming year that will ultimately guide each business unit to tailor individual campaigns to their respective markets.


 


You will partner with senior leadership across the organization to drive efficient growth of our customer (donor) base and ensure alignment of all efforts with the broader strategic direction. As a champion and true advocate of our brand you will develop multi-market strategies and provide cross-functional support and guidance to our Marketing Intelligence, Brand Management, and Creative Production teams.


 


As a people leader you will manage a team to build and maintain our brand and create loyalty across 300+ centers, corporate offices, and everywhere the brand resides digitally. This role has an organization of three direct reports (to support the three teams mentioned above) with opportunity to build relationships across the Marketing team, with Operations, and the entire business,


 


Additional will be overseeing analytics and creative; coordination across the business (so need strong communication and interpersonal skills); someone who is comfortable and inspired by change and can lead others through ambiguity.


 


Primary Responsibilities:


Brand Marketing & Communications



  • Builds, defines, and executes the US vision, messaging, and strategy across channels to drive alignment to unify up to 300+ centers across a common culture and identity.

  • Establish and own brand guidelines and foster collaboration with the Market Intelligence, Creative design, and Digital teams to implement across all communication channels.

  • Serve as a passionate advocate for the brand throughout the enterprise and partner with stakeholders to ensure underlying brand principles are consistently met, building towards a cohesive, powerful market position.

  • Ensures consistent delivery of messaging and collateral to our plasma donors to ensure we drive awareness, consideration, plasma collections, loyalty, and retention across all touchpoints our donor centers.

  • Understands market trends and assures the formation of strong promotional alliances to optimize donor recruitment and retention materials. 

  • Oversee development of annual marketing plan, from business insights to strategy, production to analysis, involving all players across the organization to ensure the execution of a cohesive national and local marketing plan.

  • Support donor segmentation in an effort to further engage donors and diversify donor base.

  • Report out to the organization and support team in championing their respective areas to ensure full transparency and collaboration of critical projects.

  • Manage agency and partner relationships; oversee related budget.


Leadership:



  • Directs and manages team to develop strategic donor base management tools including market awareness, demographics, donor base segmentation, advertising and promotion, and educational tools.

  • Leads team to understand our current donor center markets and identify adjacent markets to recruit new donor profiles. 

  • Drives the team to research and identify new markets for our donor centers to reach donors in segments that are long-term and frequent. 

  • Directs team to leverage actionable, real-time statistic and demographics on plasma donor behavior, experience, and engagement.

  • Oversees and facilitates team in leveraging data and insights to drive strategy, planning, execution, and tracking to continually improve efficiencies and quality of our message to donors.

  • Builds relationships across the business, primarily with Operations in support of all US centers in addition to IT, HR, Finance.


Required Qualifications :


  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with at least 3 years’ experience managing direct reports.

  • Expertise in driving national marketing, consumer engagement, and brand programs through managing a team and building relationships in a matrix organization. 

  • Experience in implementing new brand training and being a change maker.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic vision leveraging analysis and business intelligence.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills of direct reports at entry and above levels.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.



Education:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
