Job Description :

Our client in the virtual education space is seeking a Digital Marketing Director to join their marketing team based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director will take the lead in growing the organization’s digital channels through marketing effectiveness, review generation, promotional optimization, Ecommerce product discovery, and strategy.  The Digital Marketing Director will also lead the execution of paid media campaigns across multiple channels while also partnering with brand managers, agencies, and media partners to shape & optimize successful marketing initiatives.


In addition, the Digital Marketing Director will oversee marketing automation and email marketing.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead Ecommerce channel strategy to accelerate sales

  • Manage SEO and Marketing Automation teams

  • Collaborate with our Content team to ensure product detail pages are optimized for  SEO and creative

  • Oversee web page build outs to drive conversion

  • Develop and optimize Ecommerce key performance indicators

  • Untap new channel / product trends to drive sales growth

  • Oversee E-Commerce sales budget to optimize our expenditures and resources

  • Collaborate with development team to enhance the company website to maximize user experience

  • Lead the strategy for all paid/performance marketing channels

  • Optimize paid media content across paid social, SEM, and other channels to maximize ROI

  • Oversee the Marketing Automation team and email strategy

  • Define cross-channel media attribution, reporting and performance analysis that align with broader business objectives

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.  Master’s degree preferred

  • 6-8 years of experience in an Ecommerce role, preferably with SAS or Ed Tech experience

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports

  • Experienced with website management and customer experience

  • Experienced with digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, social media)

  • An excellent communicator who is excited to work cross-functionally

  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and acquisition KPIs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Analytics

  • Working knowledge of Tableau or other visualization tools a plus

  • Ability to be flexible and change strategies / reinvent conventional mindsets at any time

  • Willing to learn new skills and take the extra steps to help drive the business forward

  • Well organized and able to multitask
