The Director, Hospital/Payer Marketing will play a pivotal strategic and tactical leadership role in helping to successfully launch of our client's new drug within the hospital/IDN channel. This role is a unique opportunity to be an integral member of a fast-paced, customer-focused marketing and brand team, launching the first product for our client. This will be accomplished within a team environment that prioritizes patient-centricity, encourages innovative ideas, embraces diverse perspectives, and operates in a culture of integrity and collaboration. 



        Develops strategies and marketing initiatives for targeted hospital systems, continuously generating insights and learnings to drive brand performance

        Leads development and delivery of hospital segment-specific resources and pull-through programs that are aligned to brand strategy

        Collaborates with Access & Value team to develop and deliver messages and resources to educate HCPs on product value, access, and reimbursement

        Builds timely, robust metrics plans to adjust execution as necessary to achieve goals

        Develops innovative and integrated digital hospital strategies and tactics to communicate brand messages effectively and efficiently to targeted customers

        Leads development of hospital segment-specific content for Sales Force meetings including planning, execution, and follow-up engagement

        Supports development and implementation of annual brand and strategic plans that drive the short- and long-term hospital strategy and tactical plan

        Collaborates with brand team to identify opportunities for synergies and ensure positioning, strategy, and messaging are consistent across the brand

        Acts as a liaison with cross-functional partners to lead and guide strategic and tactical planning and execution

        Partners with Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence team to identify innovative data sources and develop/utilize tools to assess channel trends and performance, as well as create segmented targeting opportunities

        Provides channel-specific strategic direction to all agencies for development and delivery of relevant and innovative programs and materials to hospital customers

        Develops and manage hospital marketing budget in partnership with finance

        Manages the Medical/Legal/Regulatory review of promotional materials and programs and ensures all activity is being conducted in full compliance with policies

Required Qualifications :


• BA or BS required; MBA preferred

• Minimum 10 years commercial/marketing experience is required including US pharma experience

• Recent HCP and hospital marketing experience or hospital field accounts management experience, with preference for experience marketing cardiovascular products

• Strong familiarity with US hospital system/IDN market landscape and workflow with experience in identifying unmet needs for customers within this segment

• Experience in developing initiatives to effectively engage and educate hospital customers in disease areas of focus that support activation

• Demonstrated innovation champion, seeks learnings from other brands and other industries to innovate and enhance launch plans

• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and ability to foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork

• Established business acumen, critical thinking, and pharma industry business knowledge
