Dynamic, Entrepreneurial Marketing & Finance Consulting Company is seeking a Product Manager to contribute to our global FinTech Fortune 100 client's fast-growing global payments product team. This is a 9-month contract position where employees work in a hybrid/remote function (3 days in office - 2 days remote) in NYC. This role will offer excellent exposure within the organization, as you will be working with a large number of stakeholders across the company, and has the potential to provide a larger-scale entry into the organization for full-time employment.

Overview




Our clients FX & Global Payments product team is working to move the commercial business proposition ‘beyond the card’, by growing their existing FX International Payments (FXIP) platform and embarking on a new journey with a Global Pay product. We are redefining our cross-border payments products and capabilities, balancing new build with existing functionality and planning migration activity to retain our existing global customer base while targeting net new customers.




This role covers product management activity for the FX & Global Payments product set in the US, from understanding the competitive landscape, to strategic planning and go-to-market activity, and also collaborating daily with commercial, marketing, operations and risk colleagues to support our proposition and drive revenue.

Required Qualifications :
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO  



  • Monitor commercial performance and develop strategies to address any identified issues or opportunities, working closely with commercial and other key partners

  • Evaluate and prioritise new initiatives through the intake process based on agreed principles and established prioritisation techniques

  • Form and lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver against prioritised initiatives

  • Work closely with central product managers to ensure regional requirements are appropriately assessed as part of the product development process

  • Collaborate with central product managers and key partners to develop and deliver appropriate go-to-market strategies for the region

  • Track external market developments to inform market positioning and competitive strategy




WHAT WE LOOK FOR:



  • 4+ years' overall  front-end product exeperience; minimim of 1 year in product marketing

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

  • Experience working with established prioritisation techniques (e.g., WSJF, cost of delay, MoSCoW, etc)

  • Experience working in commercial product management on business-to-business FX and cross-border payment platforms is an advantage, but not required

  • Comfortable prioritising and managing partner expectations

  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies

  • Demonstrable knowledge of, and track-record working within product and related governance processes (including customer-facing collateral and communications)

  • Experience in go-to-market strategy and execution

  • Strong analytical/business analysis background
